CILIPS Annual Conference returns to Dundee on 2nd and 3rd of June with an exciting programme of presentations featuring thought leaders and field experts on this year's theme: Challenges, Choices and Opportunities. Attending the conference is a great opportunity to meet others in the library and information profession, share opinions and best practice, and learn about new ideas.
SALCTG is delighted to announce that it is sponsoring a free place at the conference for a member of staff of one of its member institutions*. Chartership candidates and early career professionals (first five years) are eligible. Sponsorship will cover attendance on both days, overnight accommodation, all meals, including the Conference Dinner, and reasonable travelling expenses.
Please apply to Anabel Marsh, SALCTG Admin, with a short statement (300-500 words) outlining what benefits you would gain from attending the conference and how you intend to use the experience in your home institution. You should also supply full contact details, your current job title and a brief note of how you fit the eligibility criteria. The closing date is Friday, 25th April.
After the event, you will be expected to write a report on the conference for publication on this blog.
*If you are not sure if your institution qualifies, check the membership tab at the top of the page.
